Pricing questions
How much does bckendIQ cost?
Studio is $39 a month for 3 team members and 250GB of storage; Studio Pro is $69 for 5 team members and 500GB. Pay for a year and two months are free. That is $390 or $690 a year. Studios in Africa pay $27.30 a month for Studio and $48.30 for Studio Pro, in US dollars. This page shows it in their own money. Both plans are free to use through October 31, 2026. After that, paid plans start November 1, 2026, and the first charge is on November 30, 2026.
I already use bckendIQ. What will I pay?
Less. Studios on bckendIQ by September 16, 2026 keep Founder pricing. That is $36 a month on Studio, $60 on Studio Pro. It lasts as long as your plan stays active. Same plans, same storage, same team sizes. New studios pay $39 and $69.
Who counts as a team member?
The people who run your studio and sign in to it. Freelance crew do not count. That means second shooters, assistants and editors who claim shoots, clock in and read their own payslips. They are free on both plans, however many you use. Clients never count. They open their gallery or client page with a link and a six-digit code.
What happens when I add a fourth person on Studio?
Studio includes 3 team members. The fourth person moves you up to Studio Pro, which includes 5. After that, each extra team member is $10 a month.
What counts toward my storage?
The files you upload. That means photos, video, and the older cuts you keep when you upload a new version. The small previews we make for you do not count. Your Storage page shows what is using the space, gallery by gallery.
What happens if I run out of storage?
Nothing you have stored is touched. We warn you at 70%, 85% and 95%. At 100%, your clients can still view and download everything. New uploads pause until you clear space or add more. Extra storage starts at $10 a month for 250GB, on either plan.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You do not need a card to sign up. Nothing is ever charged on its own. Before paid plans start on November 1, 2026, we will ask you to pick a plan and enter a card yourself. Nothing is charged until you do. The first charge is on November 30, 2026.
What do you take from the payments my clients make me?
Nothing. You connect your own Stripe account. Your clients pay you straight into it. The money, the fees and the payouts are all yours. We are not in the middle, so we cannot take a cut. Many other apps take between 2.7% and 15%.
What happens to my data if I do not continue?
Your data stays yours. Nothing is deleted. You can export what you need at any time.
