The deal
When you use bckendIQ, you agree to these rules. If you use it for a studio, you must have the studio's permission to agree for it.
What you get
You can use the bckendIQ app on the plan you choose. It is free to use through October 31, 2026, and paid plans start November 1, 2026. You do not need a credit card for the free time. We work hard to keep the app up and running. But we do not make a written promise about uptime.
What we ask of you
- Do not use bckendIQ to break the law or to hurt anyone.
- Do not try to break our security. Do not take the app apart to see how it works. Do not copy out data that is not yours.
- Do not share your password. Each person on your team should have their own account.
Your data
Your data belongs to you. We hold it for you, and we do not sell it. Our privacy policy tells the full story. You can download a copy, or delete it, at any time.
Paying
The app is free through October 31, 2026. Paid plans start November 1, 2026. The prices are on our pricing page. The first charge is on November 30, 2026. We charge nothing until you pick a plan and enter a card yourself. We will email you before paid plans start. If your studio is on bckendIQ by September 16, 2026, you keep Founder pricing. That lasts as long as your plan stays active.
Each plan comes with a set amount of storage. If you fill it, we do not delete your files. Your clients can still open them. New uploads pause until you free up space or add more storage.
Prices are set by country. A country's price is for studios that really are based or registered there. The bill must go to an address in that country. The payment must come from a card or bank account from that country too. If a studio gives a false location to get a lower price, we may move it to the standard price. That would start from its next billing period, and we would tell you first.
Referral credit only comes off future invoices. It is never paid out in cash. The credit can be taken back. That happens if the studio you referred cancels or gets a refund. It also happens if they stop paying within 60 days of their first payment.
Closing your account
You can cancel any time. If an account breaks these rules, we can pause it. We will give you fair warning and time to download your data. The one exception is when the harm is so bad that we must act right away.
What we owe you if something goes wrong
We give you the app "as is". That means we do not promise it is free of mistakes. If something goes wrong, the most we will pay you is what you have paid us. This page is not legal advice. Please read it carefully.
Changes to these rules
Now and then we update these rules. We post the new version here with a new "last updated" date. If a change is big, we email you.
